Although most of the free ticket winners to the summit have been announced already, there is still hope, since a couple have yet to be announced! Casey I know you are checking the sites 58340584309/minute on your blackberry while at Citifield!!! lol I’m sure registration tomorrow night is going to be a street fight for those 125 spots! Ahhh!
Well work went by soooooo fast again. I can’t tell you the last time I actually took my lunch break, meaning no work while eating! It has been quite busy, especially with one of our monster clients (meaning size, not personality lol).
As I was picking on my veggies that I packed yesterday, my coworker comes in with a bag of Raisinets. He stared at my veggies and started to compare my healthy snack versus his Raisinets, which he started to justify – because after all they are raisins. Then he spilled a bunch of Raisinets on my desk and told me to eat them, and then proceeded to grab a stick of my celery. It was quite the amusing exchange, I suppose you had to be there otherwise this story is probably not funny whatsoever. Anyways, I enjoyed my few Raisinets without a doubt! : )
I got out of work later than usual and my body was feeling tired. Despite the little time before spin class, I grabbed a handful of dried cranberries and also a thin slice of spelt bread with another tbs. of PB. Good thing, I def. felt more energetic after eating this combo. The class was good. Recently, one thing I am weary about is that due to my condition, I can always feel the problem in my back (which is usually ok, because it is not necessarily painful all the time, but rather more uncomfortable – it’s “always there” – I guess that’s how to describe it best), however, within the past day or two, it has actually has become more painful…similar pain to why I had to give up running…..and I am very stubborn when it comes to listening to my body, and tend to ignore physical pain, a big reason for my past injuries I am assuming. I need to work on this stubborn mentality of mine. We’ll see how I feel tomorrow.
Also, another bummer, I wore a whiteeeee skirt to work today. Although it didn’t rain, the ground has been wet from the previous days. Of course getting of the subway, I changed from heels to flip flops to walk home faster and more comfortable. I should have known better…….flip flop = splatter splatter of dirt and whatnot everywhereeeee on the back. I didn’t even recognize until I changed for the gym, by then the dots had saturated into the material. : ( Well I did my best to wash it out, currently the skirt is drying…..I’m afraid to look!…..it was the first time wearing it so I hope the mess came out…..will check later….
After spin I made breakfast for tomorrow….which I’m really looking forward to…..because it’s another breakfast cookie! : ) I need to start experimenting with new combos, but this one is oats, stevia, cinnamon, half a nana, tbs. of PB, a giant scoop of flax, and some unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze….mmmmmm!
I’m sure I have expressed my great enthusiasm for licking the bowl after preparing these babies:
Not sure what is going on for lunch tomorrow: I am traveling (within the area) to meet with a prospective client/potential new business during lunchtime. I don’t know whether our meeting involves discussion over lunch or not, so I packed a lunch just in case: orange slices, a naked piece of spelt bread (realized I have no more hummus!), and a very, very random concoction of snap peas, carrots, cheddar cheese chunks, and red kidney beans……all of which I picked on here and there for dinner/post spin class snack.
So naked….but it will have to satisfy my carb craving for the afternoon lol, note to self…. desperately need to buy more hummus!
Looking forward to potentially seeing Case tomorrow night for workout session and/or dinner?! Mark too?! We’ll see. One thing for sure is I will be at my computer come 8pm ready to register for the summit, that is if I have not won one the remaining free ticketssss!!!! : )
Catch ya lata!
